01 Data Controller & Purpose

Clarity v2.0 is the Data Controller for all information processed through our astrological platform. We process your information primarily to perform high-fidelity astrological calculations and reveal patterns within your personal data (the "Service").

By using Clarity, you acknowledge that your birth date, precise time, and geographical coordinates are essential for the delivery of our Service.

02 Data Inventory

We collect and process the following categories of data:

• Astro-Signatures: Birth date, exact time, and birth city/coordinates.
• Account Credentials & Email Communications: Email address (used for authentication, account notifications, cosmic updates, and marketing emails) and encrypted authentication tokens via Supabase.
• Transactional Data: Stripe transaction IDs (we do not store full credit card details on our servers).
• Technical Metadata: IP addresses, browser types, and device identifiers used for security and rate-limiting.
• Usage Patterns: Interactions with our pattern-mapping engines to improve AI interpretive precision.

03 AI Processing & Privacy

Your astrological data is interpreted using high-fidelity AI models. To protect your identity, we operate under a Zero-Training Policy: your personally identifiable birth data is never used to train global AI models or shared with third-party advertising networks.

All calculations are performed against historical ephemeris data (the "Source of Truth") to ensure forensic precision.

04 User Rights (GDPR/EU & Global)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (European Union) and other global privacy laws, you possess comprehensive rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of Access: Request a full export of your personal readings and data archive.
• Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccuracies in your birth data or account profile.
• Right to Erasure: Request the total deletion of your Clarity account and all associated natal data.
• Right to Portability: Transfer your account metadata and reading history to another service.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

United States (CCPA/CPRA & State Rights): If you are a resident of California or other US states with active privacy regulations, you have additional rights to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of your data. Clarity operates under a strict **Zero-Training / No-Sale policy** — your astrological parameters and email details are never sold, rented, or shared with third-party advertisers or used to train external AI models.

05 Data Retention & Security

We retain your astrological profile as long as your account is active to maintain your reading history. Inactive accounts may be archived or deleted after 24 months of total inactivity. All data is protected using industry-standard SSL encryption and modern authentication protocols.

06 Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal signatures to third parties. Data is only shared with our technical sub-processors (e.g., Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI/Anthropic for processing) strictly as required to deliver the Service.
